Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
SAGECE Limited, as a specialist in IT, project management, and project control services, is resolutely dedicated to upholding human rights and eliminating all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking from every facet of its operations and supply chains. We recognise our duty to act ethically and to maintain full compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Our Principles
We categorically prohibit slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking in every aspect of our business. This applies to our direct workforce as well as to all suppliers, consultants, contractors, and partners we engage with on IT projects, systems implementation, and project management assignments. We expect our network to adhere to the same ethical standards and to demonstrate transparency in their own operations.
Risk Assessment and Due Diligence
SAGECE Limited systematically assesses risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, particularly when onboarding new suppliers and contractors involved in software development, infrastructure deployment, and consultancy services. We regularly review contracts, procurement processes, and supplier practices to verify compliance with our standards.
Training and Engagement
We provide tailored training for our employees—especially project managers, procurement teams, and IT specialists—to increase awareness of modern slavery, recognise risk indicators in the tech sector, and understand the appropriate channels for raising concerns. Training is designed to be practical and relevant to the nature of our work.
Reporting Mechanisms
All staff members are encouraged to report any suspicion or evidence of modern slavery or human trafficking, whether internal or within our supply chain. Reports can be made securely and confidentially, and SAGECE Limited will investigate all cases swiftly and impartially, taking corrective action where necessary.
Continuous Review and Improvement
We are committed to continually enhancing our policies and procedures. We regularly monitor legislative developments, reflect on industry best practices, and seek stakeholder feedback to ensure our approach remains robust and effective for an organisation operating in IT and project management.
This policy has been endorsed by SAGECE Limited’s Board of Directors and is reviewed annually to ensure continued relevance and efficacy.
